Objective
Our primary role for Furniture 48 was to bring their design team’s vision to life by developing a fully functional Shopify website that aligns with their business goals. As a sub-brand of Oak Furniture Superstore, it was essential that the development process ensured a smooth, user-friendly shopping experience, while incorporating the design team’s creative input to maintain a cohesive brand identity.
The project began with implementing a custom global header based on the design team’s specifications. We built a streamlined navigation structure that allows users to easily access key product categories, promotions, and search features. The header was optimised for both desktop and mobile devices, ensuring that users could explore the store seamlessly regardless of their platform.
For the homepage, we transformed the provided design mockups into a fully responsive layout. This involved coding sections that highlight bestsellers, new arrivals, and promotional offers. By focusing on clean, efficient code, we ensured that the homepage loaded quickly and was accessible across devices, providing customers with a fluid and enjoyable shopping experience. We also integrated dynamic features such as promotional banners and product carousels, enhancing interactivity and engagement.
